A fresh look!
If I am to trust the statistics, this site doesn't have many recurring visitors, but for those who are: you might have noticed a change in looks (thanks to site5 for the Colorbold theme). This blog moved from Lifetype to WordPress today, and should be ready for the future now! On top of that, there now is an official Linux Tutorial Blog Twitter account, which you can follow to stay up to date and tweet your opinion on what should be coming up. Did I just say coming up? Yes indeed, I'm going to try once more to actually write new tutorials =)! I already have a few ideas in mind, now I just have to find the time to turn them into actual posts. Let's hope my study will allow me to take that time. Anyway, happy reading, and let me know what you think of the new looks!

Ha rechosen!
It looks very good! I'm also impressed by the loading times, it loads smooth and fast!
Blessings from a friend!
Looks great. Please, continue to write.
I hope I'll be able to get to writing more soon. Life has that nasty yet funny way of going in a different direction than planned =).
Hi, that's a wonderful news. I gotta tell You, that reading this blog helped me understand some issuses which were hard form me to grasp in my native language :) I'm not a linux fan but maybe i will become one soon thanks to your blog :) big up!
Hi!
Sorry for my question...
Did you used some script to convert lifetype to wordpress?
I'm searching for a good script, but I found only one for WP MU.
I'm trying to convert LT 1.2.10 to WP 3.0.1, but the script stops at 3° steps (import posts).
He tell me "0 posts found".
Can You help me, please?
Thanks very much.
No problems with the question, but I honestly wouldn't know how I did the conversion anymore :). I guess there was some manual work in it because this blog doesn't have too many posts. However, here's a blog post by someone who recently made the move: http://mikeb.org/2010/09/23/lifetype-to-wordpress/. Hope that helps.
thanks for your kind reply.
Unfortunately that code is not god for my multiblog.. :-(
Thanks more.
Hey rechosen,
I wouldn't get too hung up on statistics about recurring visitors - I would suggest that if people come to this blog and then drop off later, you've probably achieved success. Since you're teaching newbies or rusty former users that have languished in the windoze world for years before coming back to Linux (like me), once we've learned what we needed, and we move on, then your site has done it's job.
I have a lot to learn, so I've bookmarked this site. I'll be back.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers,
Allan
